Each Marine recruit on MCRD Parris Island is assigned to a Recruit Training Battalion. 1st RTBN includes four companies: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. Their battalion color is red. The 4th blossom in every Bootcamp or Moto Monday Bouquet represents this "family" with whom the recruit lives, trains and graduates.
The 1st RTBN Blossom was recently updated to include the battalion insignia as a center, and can be finished on a 9" stem, with a pin back, as an ornament or as a magnet.
