Each Marine recruit is assigned to a Recruit Training Battalion. On MCRD Parris Island 4th RTBN includes three companies: November, Oscar and Papa. Their battalion color is burgundy.
The 4th blossom in every Bootcamp or Moto Monday Bouquet represents this "family" with whom the recruit lives, trains and graduates.
